Job Description
GIRO is known and recognized for the quality of its optimization algorithms. As an intern in the Algorithms team, you will help improve the daily lives of millions of public transport users worldwide. To do this, you will participate in the design and development of automatic solutions for retrieving and exploiting large volumes of data, ensuring that the data is reliable, accessible, and usable efficiently and securely.
In addition to discovering how to work in an agile mode, an internship in development at GIRO includes:
Analyzing and critically thinking about new problems to propose innovative software solutions.
Designing and developing data pipelines for integration into our software product range.
Ensuring that our data solutions are robust, scalable, and easily deployable to meet client requirements.
Guaranteeing the continuous integrity and quality of data by implementing automatic tests and validations.
Documenting processes and data flows to facilitate the maintenance and evolution of systems.
Keeping up to date with the latest advances in data engineering.
Qualifications
You are pursuing a master's degree in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, or a related field.
Experience in designing, maintaining, and deploying pipelines that collect, process, and store data from various sources.
Good knowledge of data storage systems (SQL Server, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.) and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
Experience with one or more cloud service providers like Azure or AWS.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.
Ability to communicate in French and English (both spoken and written).
