Full Stack Software Developer

Our Client is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Developer to support a large-scale Ontario Government application environment.

The role is focused on building and supporting modern cloud-native web applications, REST APIs, responsive front-end solutions, and scalable backend services within an Agile delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain full-stack web applications
• Build responsive front-end applications using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Develop backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and modern application frameworks
• Work with relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies such as Entity Framework
• Translate business requirements, user stories, UI/UX artefacts, security requirements, and data models into technical solutions
• Design and support scalable application architecture, APIs, database structures, and integrations
• Work closely with Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, Product Managers, Architects, Developers, and QA teams
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, reviews, and estimation
• Support Git-based source control, feature branching, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps practices
• Support unit testing, regression testing, test automation, accessibility testing, and defect resolution
• Ensure web applications comply with WCAG/AODA accessibility standards
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, defect fixes, maintenance, and post-implementation support
• Prepare technical documentation, release procedures, and operational support documentation
• Provide knowledge transfer to ministry staff throughout the engagement
